Spring Can Wait

Well, it has officially become spring according to the calendar, but with over two feet of snow in my back yard, it is difficult to convince me that spring has sprung. It seems like just a week ago, I was shovelling fresh snow. Oh wait, it was just last week. Well folks, it seems as though the old AMC Rambler will be stuck in the garage into June this year. The nice thing is that we are still a great choice for tourists looking to extend their winter recreation enjoyment. Alpine and nordic skiing, snowshoing, and snowmobile riding are still possible up here. We are expecting a warm trend soon, so don't wait long.

As for me, I am waiting for the warmer weather. With gold prices soaring, I expect to find myself up the creek (gold panning) quite often. I will have to check with Harvey for a tips on the really good spots to make some good money. If a days worth of panning was worth $15 last year, I should be able to put away some real cash this year.
